Protecting the data entrusted to our platform is a top priority, and we've built multiple layers of protection into our systems to keep sensitive information, including personally identifiable information, secure.
Encryption
All data stored within Inosio's platform is encrypted at rest. Certain categories of sensitive information receive additional layers of protection beyond our standard encryption. In addition, all traffic across our platform, including communication with third-party service providers, is transmitted using industry-standard secure transport protocols, ensuring information is protected while in transit.
Access Controls & Monitoring
Access to sensitive data is governed by internal controls, and activity is logged and monitored so we can maintain visibility into how information is accessed across our systems.
Account Security
We encourage all users to strengthen their account security by enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), available in the user profile settings. MFA adds an important extra layer of protection against unauthorized account access.
PCI Compliance
Inosio is PCI DSS compliant, meeting the security standards required for handling payment card data. This compliance is validated through regular assessments, helping ensure our payment processing practices continue to meet these rigorous industry standards.
FCRA Compliance
Inosio and the third-party partners we work with for consumer reporting (such as credit and background checks) operate in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the federal law governing how consumer report information is obtained, used, and protected. This includes appropriate permissible-purpose handling and safeguards around sensitive applicant information.
Ongoing Security Testing
We regularly partner with independent third-party security firms to conduct security assessments of our platform. These reviews help us proactively identify and address potential vulnerabilities, ensuring our systems continue to meet a high standard of protection as new threats emerge.

Your Role in Keeping Data Secure
Security is a shared responsibility. We encourage all users — property managers, staff, and anyone accessing the platform — to do their part by choosing strong, complex passwords that are unique to Inosio and not reused across other sites or services, never sharing passwords with others, enabling MFA on their accounts, limiting internal access to sensitive data to those who need it, and promptly removing access for individuals who no longer require it.
