Overview
The Promas Integration is a semi-automated receivable integration which eliminates manual entry or clunky exchange of data files between softwares.
Promas will only send data to Inosio when Promas is open and running.
Inosio will only send data to Promas when requested to do so by Promas.
There are two types of data exchanges:
1. Push 'Payer Balances' to Inosio
- This data exchange sends your property, bank account, ledger, lease, resident and charge data to Inosio.
2. Pull 'Deposit' and 'Deposit Items' from Inosio
- This data exchange pulls all Payment data in closed batches from Inosio.
Receive Deposit and Deposit Item data from Inosio
Each morning you should sync Promas with Inosio to ensure that your accounting system is up-to-date with all payments. Use the below button to receive and review payment data.

Each deposit will be displayed and you'll be asked to review each item individually. You can auto-post any item that matches the outstanding charges exactly without review if you like. Any item that is less or greater than the current balance will require manual review.
Remember these payments are already on the way or in your bank account and cannot be stopped, so you need to receipt each item.
Send Promas data to Inosio
This task can be automated for large batch operations by using the settings above, however one-off operations (evictions, no payments/no posting, new individual charges, lease adjustments, move-ins, move-outs) won't reflect in Inosio until the next sync unless you click the below button in Promas.Best Practices

Best Practices
It is critical that all residents, properties, and bank accounts are added to Inosio via the Promas integration. Entering this data directly into Inosio will cause integration errors and create manual work for yourself.
Each morning sync Promas with Inosio deposit and payment data. This will ensure your software reflects all payment activity.
Whenever you post or change a tenants lease/charges, add a new lease, property, or resident to Promas you should sync your data with Inosio.
Enable the following settings to save yourself time. These settings will automatically send Property information to Inosio each time you Post Deposit Slips and Post Scheduled Receivables.
