Getting started on a Maintenance Request

Once you receive a maintenance request you need to log in a view it.


First, familiarize yourself with the details on the left side of the screen.


Second, you need to:

  • assign the work order to a vendor or staff member.
  • update the status to the appropriate status.


When you assign the work order it will email the vendor/staff member and let them know they've been assigned the work order. (Only if there is an email on file for the vendor.)


A couple other things to be aware of:

  • tenants are notified 3 times for every maintenance request; upon submission, when it is moved out of 'Needs Review' status, and when it is marked completed.
  • Notes are only visible to staff and yourself. They will NOT be shared with vendors or owners.
