How to save a decision about an application in Inosio and notify the applicants.

Once you have made a decision about an application, you can update the status of the application and notify the applicant of your decision, by clicking on the person icon in the "Status" column. After you select your decision, you will have the option to notify the applicant via an email from Inosio, or you can notify them directly via your own email or letter. Either way, you will need to select Approve or Deny (thumb up / thumb down) in order to save that decision. This is also important in order to have approved applicant data sync through the Integration into Promas.
Denying Application / Adverse Action
When Denying an application, after you select the Deny button and Continue, you will have the ability to select the Adverse Action Reason(s) from a list of options.
The last step prompts you to decide how you would like to notify the applicant(s). The Applicant Notification page gives you the option of selecting which applicant you would like to notify (if there is only one person on an application, only one name will appear, all adult co-applicant names will appear if more than one adult is listed on the application). Then you can select Download Letter and/or Email Letter to Applicant(s). If you only select Download Letter, Inosio will not email the decision to the applicant. The letter will be downloaded to your computer. If you select Email Letter to Applicant(s), Inosio will automatically email your Decision to whichever applicant(s) you selected. You can select both options if you would like Inosio to email the applicant(s), as well as having a copy of the letter downloaded to your computer. You must click the Submit button for either of those options to take place.
Approving Application
When Approving an application, after you select the Approve button and Continue, you will have the ability to input the Terms of Acceptance: Rent Amount, Security Deposit, Pet Deposit, Lease Signed By date. (Filling the Terms of Acceptance information in, is a way to communicate the basic lease info to the approved applicant; it does not impact any of the lease info that you have/will enter into Promas.) After you Save that information, you will have the option to send an Approval notification email to the applicant through Inosio. To do that, select the applicant(s) name(s) and click the Send button. If you do not select any applicant(s) name(s) an automatic email will not be sent via Inosio; you can notify the applicant via your own methods.
After you Decision an application, the application will no longer appear in the "Submitted" applications page. To find an application that has already been decisioned, select the status from the "Status" drop down arrow. "Rejected" will show you all applications you have denied. "Approved" will show you all applications you have approved.
